I traveled 20 miles offshore in the Florida Keys to fish deep waters for dinner, targeting species like snapper, grouper, and barrelfish in depths of 500–800 feet. The bite wasn’t consistent and it turned into a grind, but I kept working different spots until I finally found fish and made it happen. After putting together a solid catch, I headed back to shore for a fresh catch-and-cook. With calm weather, clear blue water, and a cooler full of fish, it was a memorable offshore fishing adventure.
