Neckband pick up I like:

Pick up the amount of stitches in the “collar”.
Round 1: *k1, yo Repeat across round. (Double the amt of stitches.)
Round 2: *k1, slip 1 st purl wise WYIF. Repeat across round
Round 3: *Slip 1 purl wise WYIB, ptbl. Repeat across round
Round 4: Repeat round 2
Round 5 ssk to end. (Back to OG stitch count.)
Continue in rib.

***Good things***

Dishcloths:
Cast on 3 stitches.
Knit now row.
K1, yarn over, knit to end.
Continue until you have 44 stitches on needle.
Start decrease:
Knit 1, knit 2 tog, yarn over, knit 2 tog. Knit to end.
Continue until 3 stitches remain.
Bind off. Weave in loose ends. Turn up the music and dance.
