Dinner for Real Life Ep. 20: Million Dollar Ravioli Lasagna

This might be the easiest lasagna I’ve ever made.

We’re skipping the lasagna noodles and using cheese-stuffed ravioli instead, then layering it with Italian sausage, creamy marinara, and plenty of cheese. Easy enough for a weeknight, but absolutely ridiculous when it comes out of the oven.

**RAVIOLI LASAGNA**

**Ingredients**

* 1 lb Italian sausage
* 24 oz marinara sauce
* 1/2 cup heavy cream
* 2 bags refrigerated cheese ravioli, about 18–20 oz each
* 2 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella
* 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan
* Fresh basil or parsley for garnish

**Instructions**

1. Preheat your oven to 375°F.

2. Brown the Italian sausage in a large skillet, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain any excess grease.

3. Add the marinara and 1/2 cup heavy cream to the sausage and stir until combined. Let it simmer for a couple of minutes.

4. Spread a thin layer of the creamy sausage sauce across the bottom of a baking dish.

5. Add a layer of cheese ravioli, followed by more sausage sauce, mozzarella, and Parmesan.

6. Repeat the layers, finishing with plenty of mozzarella and Parmesan on top.

7. Cover with foil and bake at 375°F for 35 minutes.

8. Remove the foil and bake for another 10–15 minutes until hot and bubbling. Broil for 1–2 minutes at the end to get that cheese golden brown.

9. Let it rest for about 5–10 minutes, garnish with fresh basil or parsley, and dig in.

Save this one because we're officially making lasagna the lazy way from now on.
