Looking for an easy and delicious Brussels sprouts recipe? These Brussels Sprouts with Turkey Bacon are cooked in a skillet with onions and crispy turkey bacon for a flavorful, savory side dish that comes together in about 20–30 minutes. Perfect for weeknight dinners, Thanksgiving, holiday meals, or any time you want an easy vegetable side.

You can use regular bacon in this recipe, but we love using turkey bacon for a lighter option while still getting all that delicious bacon flavor. The bacon adds so much flavor to the tender Brussels sprouts, and this simple skillet recipe uses just a few ingredients!

Ingredients:
1 lb (about 3-4 cups) Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved
1 package (about 11 slices) turkey bacon
1-2 tablespoons olive oil
1 medium onion, diced
½ tsp salt, to taste

Instructions:
1. Crisp the turkey bacon: Heat the olive oil in a large frying pan over medium heat. Add the turkey bacon and cook for 5–7 minutes, until crispy.
2. Prepare the Brussels sprouts: Wash, trim, and halve the Brussels sprouts. Set aside.
3. Remove the bacon: Transfer the bacon to a paper towel-lined plate, leaving the drippings in the pan. Let the bacon cool.
4. Cook the onion: Add the diced onion to the pan. Cover and let it cook over low heat until softened and caramelized.
5. Cook the Brussels sprouts: Add the Brussels sprouts to the pan. Stir, cover, and cook until they begin to soften, stirring occasionally. If needed, add 2 tablespoons of water to the pan and immediately cover with a lid. Steam for 3–5 minutes, or until the Brussels sprouts are tender.
6. Finish the dish: Chop the cooled turkey bacon and add it back to the pan. Season with salt to taste. Stir, cover, and let everything warm through before serving as a side dish.
