Looking for an easy comfort food dinner? Today I'm making one of our family favorites—homemade Salisbury steak smothered in a rich onion mushroom gravy using my Homemade Brown Gravy Mix and Homemade Beefy Onion Soup Mix. Served over creamy mashed potatoes with peas, this simple meal is full of flavor and made with pantry staples.

******* THIS WAS 3 cups of water and 1 cup of milk and a little bit of sour cream NOT 3 cups of milk and 1 cup of water. This was also done (the water) with my instant hot water so I did not have to boil the water before use******

One of the reasons I love making homemade pantry mixes is because they turn an ordinary weeknight dinner into something special without opening store-bought packets.
