In this video, I’m making a homemade Big Mac-style burger and fries outdoors while homeless in my U-Haul van — the kind of flavorful cooking content that helped me build a community of more than 1.6 million supporters across platforms.

I made my own Big Mac-style sauce with mayo, relish, mustard, ketchup, onion, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and salt. Then I made homemade fries from russet potatoes, cooked smash-style beef patties, toasted the buns, and built the burger with sauce, lettuce, onions, and cheese using what I had while homeless.

I’m Chef Justice Hunter. Before everything changed, I was building my life through food, brand partnerships, cookbooks, and cooking videos like this.

After what I documented and maintain was unfair police targeting, I faced accusations that I maintained my innocence against from the beginning. Those accusations have since been dismissed in court, but the damage from that situation affected almost every part of my life — brand deals, housing opportunities, rent approvals, job opportunities, stability, and so many other missed opportunities.

Today, I have no convictions, no evictions, and no active criminal accusations against me.

So I’m rebuilding through food.

Every cookbook, skillet, cutting board, and product order helps fund new videos, replace broken or lost equipment, upgrade my websites, create new cookbooks, post more consistently, and work toward my long-term goal of opening a restaurant.
