I made the mistake of giving my kids a tablet so I could “buy myself an hour” to make dinner… and now all I get are food requests.

This time the request was “make it saucy Dad” so I made crispy double fried chicken coated in a spicy garlic parmesan sauce that turned out ridiculously good.

There are really only three keys to perfect fried chicken. Season your flour. Double fry the chicken. And don’t overcrowd the oil unless you want to ruin it.

Crunchy crispy buttery cheesy with just the right amount of heat… this is the kind of chicken that makes people stop talking after the first bite.

Honestly I should’ve never given those kids tablets.
