One pasta dinner.

This is multigenerational family cooking as a dementia caregiver.

My partner and I care for her 86 year old mom at home. She needs soft, low sodium foods — the rest of the family doesn’t. As busy family caregivers, we rely on two strategies to make it work: prepping versatile heart healthy ingredients in advance, and building meals that are easy to adjust into a soft food low sodium version for grandma and a regular version for everyone else.

Tonight that looks like a quick pasta dinner that works for our whole multigenerational household. Simple, delicious, and caregiver approved.
