There is absolute magic in a rainy monsoon evening—the rhythmic tapping of raindrops on the windowpane, the earthy scent of petrichor rising from the streets, and the comforting chill in the air. And what better way to match that cozy mood than with the ultimate comfort food ritual: making homemade samosas from scratch?
Rolling out the golden pastry dough, filling it with a spiced potato and pea mixture, and folding them into neat little triangles is a labor of love. As they sizzle and fry to a deep, crispy golden brown, the kitchen fills with an aroma that instantly warms the soul. Pair a batch of piping-hot, crispy samosas with a steaming cup of adrak wali chai (ginger tea), wrap yourself in your favorite blanket, and let the soothing rhythm of the monsoon wash all your worries away.
