Road Trip Food Prep From Scratch | Sourdough + Fresh Milled Flour Meals

We don’t eat fast food on road trips—so this is what I make instead. I’m sharing how I prep from-scratch meals using fresh milled flour, including sourdough English muffins, homemade apple cider, breakfast sandwiches, and chicken taquitos.
I’m Serra, a mom of five traveling solo with my kids, and these simple make-ahead meals help us stay nourished on the road. I’m also sharing a few natural essentials I always pack for travel.

Welcome to my channel! I'm Serra — an RN turned holistic homemaker — sharing natural living, birth, and homesteading from a whole-health perspective.

We’re a family of seven living in Paradise, CA, doing our best to homestead on a 0.34-acre urban lot. While we dream of having more land someday, we're making the most of what we have right now with our garden, chickens, and homeschool life. From cooking from scratch to growing and making as much as we can ourselves, we're on a journey to get back to the basics.

After leaving the medical field in 2021, I’ve focused on sharing holistic, practical knowledge that supports wellness from the inside out. We’re also passionate about being part of the beautiful rebuilding of Paradise after the Camp Fire of 2018.

Thanks for being here with us as we learn, grow, and share what we love.
