Homemade Burgers
Learn how to make a juicy burger patty with this simple homemade burger recipe.
Using high-quality ground ribeye makes all the difference for that perfect flavor without needing extra seasonings. I'll show you my method for forming and grilling the patties to get them just right every time.
Ingredients
2.2 lb (1 kg) ground ribeye cap, 70/30 (30% fat). Trust me, this is the tastiest and most worth-it meat I’ve ever made burgers with.
1 tablespoon coarse salt
1 tablespoon coarse ground black pepper
Toppings
Pickles
Lettuce
Tomato
Red onion
Mayonnaise
Round burger buns
Instructions
1. Mix the meat, salt, and pepper well.
2. Divide into balls in whatever size you like. I made each one 5.3 oz (150 g) and rolled whatever was left into an extra ball.
3. **Cook the patties.** I used an electric indoor grill, but a skillet or an outdoor grill works too. Cook over medium heat. When you see the juices start to rise on the top, uncooked side, flip it. Each side takes about 10 minutes.
4. Slice the pickles, lettuce, tomato, and red onion.
5. Spread mayo on the bun and stack everything layer by layer until you get the perfect bite.
Enjoy, friends!
