Hey Y'all!

We visited a historic Kentucky bakery that first opened in 1873—and discovered that it offers much more than freshly baked bread!

Kirchhoff’s Bakery & Deli has been a downtown Paducah tradition for generations, serving handmade artisan breads, pastries, sandwiches, soups, salads, and homemade desserts.

Kimberly ordered the house-made chicken salad with fresh tomato and lettuce on Kirchhoff’s Cranberry Walnut Bread. The chicken salad was delicious, but that freshly baked bread helped make the entire sandwich something special!

Charlie tried a specialty sandwich called “The Humphrey.” It was loaded with corned beef, spinach, tomato, and a fried egg on an Onion Cheddar Bun. Charlie is really starting to like corned beef—and this sandwich certainly didn’t hurt!
