Recipe:
Potato - 100g
Smoked paprika - 1tsp
Dried parsley - 1tsp
Onion powder - 1tsp
Garlic powder - 1tsp
Salt - 1/2tsp
Pepper - 1/4th tsp
Flour - 1.5tbsp
Grated cheese - 15g per patty

Did you know that this is the oldest food in the world? Over 7000 years ago, Cheese was created accidentally, when farmers would store milk in bags made from the stomach lining of animals. These bags contained live enzymes, one of which was Rennet, which is the enzyme we use to this day to curdle milk in the cheese making process. Throughout the years cheese making has evolved significantly with each region modifying it based on their climate, like cheese in the Middle east being saltier to preserve it in their hotter climate, while in Europe the cheeses had less salt and therefore were able to ferment, leading to funkier flavours. The cooler climate also meant that cheeses were stored longer without spoiling, leading to a more dried out, hard cheese. Ancient people loved cheese so much that there were even blocks of cheese found in Egyptian tombs. Is there a food you love enough to be buried with?
