Triple-Layer Chocolate Brownie Dream!
If you love brownies, wait until you sink a spoon through THREE ridiculously good layers. This layered chocolate brownie dessert starts with a fudgy brownie crumb, gets buried under fluffy sweet cream, then disappears beneath a silky chocolate ganache.
Ingredients:
For the Fudgy Brownie Base:
3.5 oz dark chocolate, 100 g
1/2 cup unsalted butter, about 113 g
1/3 cup granulated sugar
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 cup warm milk
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Neutral oil, for greasing
For the Creamy Middle:
3/4 cup plus 1 tablespoon heavy whipping cream, 200 ml, very cold
1/4 cup powdered sugar
For the Chocolate Ganache:
3.5 oz dark chocolate, 100 g, finely chopped
1/3 cup hot milk
Chocolate sprinkles, optional
Instructions:
Make the brownie batter. Melt the dark chocolate, butter, and granulated sugar together over a double boiler, stirring until glossy and smooth.
Sift in the flour, cocoa powder, and baking powder. Add the warm milk and vanilla, then gently mix just until you have an even chocolate batter.
Chef's Tip: Don't overmix after adding the flour. A gentle hand helps keep that brownie layer tender and fudgy.
Prepare the pan. Lightly grease a baking pan and line it with parchment paper. Spread the brownie batter evenly into the pan.
Bake. Bake in a preheated 350°F oven for about 25 to 30 minutes, or until the brownie is set and a tester comes out with a few moist crumbs. Cool completely.
Chef's Tip: Pull it before it becomes dry. That moist, chocolatey crumb is what makes every spoonful so good.
Whip the cream. Beat the cold whipping cream for about 1 minute. Add the powdered sugar and continue whipping until fluffy medium peaks form.
Build that dreamy middle. Spread the whipped cream in a thick, even layer over the completely cooled brownie.
Make the ganache. Place the chopped dark chocolate in a bowl or measuring cup. Pour the hot milk over it, let stand briefly, then stir until completely smooth, dark, and velvety.
Let the ganache cool slightly so it won't melt the cream. Pour it slowly over the cream layer and spread it all the way to the edges.
Finish with chocolate sprinkles for that old-school bakery look.
Chill before serving. Refrigerate until the cream is cold and the ganache has softly set. Scoop deep enough to catch all three layers in one bite.
Closing: Serve this one chilled and make sure every spoonful gets that glossy ganache, cloud-soft cream, and rich fudgy brownie crumb. Absolute chocolate heaven.
Yield: 10 to 12 generous servings
