Would you eat this Gummy Oreo?!
✨Recipe:
Ingredients:
Cream Filling
• 1 packet unflavored gelatin
• ¾ cup whole milk, divided
• ¼ cup sweetened condensed milk
• 1 tbsp granulated sugar
Cookie Layers
• 1 packet unflavored gelatin
• ¾ cup whole milk, divided
• 3 tbsp granulated sugar
• 1 tbsp black cocoa powder
Directions:
1. In two separate small bowls, bloom each packet of gelatin in ¼ cup cold milk for about 5 minutes.
2. For the cream filling: In a small saucepan over medium-low heat, combine the remaining ½ cup milk, condensed milk, and sugar. Heat until warm, then remove from the heat and stir in one portion of bloomed gelatin until completely dissolved. Pour into a small square dish in an even layer about ¼ inch thick, then refrigerate until fully set.
3. For the cookie layers: In a small saucepan over medium-low heat, combine the remaining ½ cup milk, sugar, and black cocoa powder. Heat while stirring until smooth and well combined. Remove from the heat and stir in the remaining bloomed gelatin until completely dissolved. Pour into Oreo-shaped molds and refrigerate until fully set.
4. Once the cream layer has set, use a small round cookie cutter to cut out circles slightly smaller than the Jell-O cookies.
5. Carefully remove the chocolate cookie layers from their molds. Sandwich one cream circle between two cookies, gently pressing them together. Repeat with the remaining pieces.
6. Serve chilled and enjoy this fun, jiggly take on a classic Oreo!
