Singapore Airlines Business Class Haneda to Singapore plus ANA lounge experience. #harpazo soon!

In this video, I share my Singapore Airlines Business Class flight experience from Tokyo Haneda to Singapore — a memorable journey that felt like a fitting end to my time in Japan.

Flying out of Haneda is always convenient and efficient, and this SQ flight reminded me why Singapore Airlines continues to be such a strong premium carrier. From boarding to service, the experience was calm, polished and reassuringly familiar. The cabin felt comfortable, the crew were warm and attentive, and the overall rhythm of the flight made it easy to relax after a busy trip.

One of the highlights was the Japanese meal served on board. It was beautifully presented, with a refined multi-part arrangement that felt elegant and thoughtfully prepared. The first tray featured small appetisers in a red lacquer-style dish, including what looked like chilled noodles with octopus, delicate sashimi slices with wasabi, and several seasonal bites with contrasting colours and textures. It was light, fresh and visually attractive — very much in the spirit of Japanese dining.

The main bento-style tray was equally elegant, with rice, grilled fish or chicken, simmered vegetables, octopus, pickles and other traditional Japanese side dishes neatly arranged in separate compartments. The flavours were delicate and well balanced — not overly heavy, but still satisfying. A warm bowl of soup and Japanese tea completed the savoury course and added to the sense of calm, refined service.

Later, the meal continued with fruit, cheese, crackers and a Japanese-style dessert wrapped in a leaf, giving the service a pleasant and premium finish. Overall, it felt like one last graceful taste of Japan before returning home to Singapore.

I also appreciated the little details: the table setting, the tea, the neat presentation, and the way the meal was paced. On a medium-haul flight, these details make a real difference. They turn the flight from simple transport into part of the travel experience itself.

For those who enjoy business class flight reviews, airline meals, Singapore Airlines, or Japan travel, I hope this video gives you a useful and enjoyable glimpse of the Haneda-to-Singapore journey.

Harpazo — What Just Happened?

English

Harpazo is a Greek word meaning “to be caught up suddenly.” In the Bible, it describes an event where believers are taken by God to be with Jesus in an instant—without warning, according to His sovereign plan (often called the Rapture). For a non-believer, this is not about religious fear, but about reality. Life feels stable until suddenly it isn’t. History, illness, accidents, and global crises remind us how fragile our assumptions are. The Bible says: “Then we who are alive… will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air.” (1 Thessalonians 4:17, ESV)

If you are reading this after Harpazo has happened and I am no longer here, I did not disappear randomly. I have gone to be with Jesus Christ, just as He promised: “I go to prepare a place for you.” (John 14:2, ESV) God’s invitation still stands. Turn to Christ and call on Him. “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” (Romans 10:13, ESV)
