Spinach Dip
Ingredients:
-10 oz fresh spinach cooked down OR 10 oz frozen spinach defrosted
-8 oz of cream cheese, softened
-1 cup of either plain greek yogurt or sour cream
-1 tablespoon minced garlic
-1 tsp salt
-½ tsp black pepper
-½ tsp red pepper flakes
-1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella
-½ cup shredded parmesan
-To serve: Baguette slices, crackers, chips or veggies
Directions:
1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit and grease a casserole dish with nonstick
spray. I usually use an 8x8 for this.
2. If using fresh spinach: Heat a skillet over medium low heat and cook your spinach down
for 3-5 minutes. If using frozen spinach: Defrost the spinach and squeeze out any
excess moisture with a cheesecloth or paper towel
3. Microwave the cream cheese for 30 seconds to soften it.
4. Combine all ingredients in a bowl and stir.
5. Bake for 20-25 minutes.
