Need an easy high-protein dinner you can make with simple grocery-store ingredients? This is one of my favorite repeatable meals because it is quick, customizable, packed with protein, and easy to fit into almost any nutrition plan.
In this video, I take you through the grocery store and show you exactly what to buy to build this easy teriyaki stir-fry bowl.
For the protein, use either:
• Two 4-ounce servings of 99% fat-free ground turkey for approximately 56g of protein
• Two 4-ounce servings of 96% lean ground beef for approximately 48g of protein
Then add an easy teriyaki stir-fry kit from the salad section, broccoli slaw, or your favorite mixed vegetables. I use 3 Dragons Teriyaki Sauce for flavor and add a small amount of Kettle & Fire Bone Broth while cooking to help keep the meat moist and prevent it from sticking to the pan.
You can also add:
• Fresh garlic or garlic paste
• Steamed edamame for more protein and fiber
• Liquid aminos or reduced-sodium soy sauce—compare the nutrition labels
• 90-second jasmine rice when you want more carbohydrates
• Riced cauliflower for a lower-carbohydrate option.
Depending on your ingredients and serving sizes, this dinner can provide approximately 50g or more of protein without requiring a complicated recipe or hours of meal prep.
I also show how you can pair the meal with an OIKOS FUSION drink containing 23g of protein and 5g of fiber. That combination can bring you close to 75g of protein between the meal and snack.
And because consistency does not require perfection, I include a freedom-food option such as Halo Top Light Ice Cream. Build meals that support your goals while still allowing room for foods you enjoy.
This is what staying ready looks like: simple ingredients, a repeatable system, and meals you can realistically make during a busy week.
Exact calories, protein, carbohydrates, fat, fiber, and sodium will vary based on the brands, portions, sauces, and ingredients you choose. Always check your labels and adjust the meal to fit your individual needs and goals.
