More than six years ago, I moved from the U.S. to France to build a life here, and Paris has truly become home.

But some traditions have a way of staying with you. They just look a little different now.

So this Fourth of July, I'm celebrating the way I know best, with a French pastry !

A buttery sablé Breton (a nod to Lev’s background) topped with clouds of Chantilly, sweet summer strawberries, and a few blueberries, all made in my tiny Parisian kitchen.

And honestly... it kind of reminds me of the Eiffel Tower, which means I may just have to make it again for Bastille Day
