These Minecraft Crumbl cookies are just TOO CUTE!
✨Recipe:
Ingredients:
• ½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, softened
• ½ cup granulated sugar
• 1 large egg
• 1 cup all-purpose flour
• ½ tsp salt
• 2 tbsp cornstarch
• 1 tsp baking soda
• 1 tsp lime juice
• Green food coloring
• Vanilla frosting
• Colored melting chocolate, for decorating
Directions:
1. In a medium bowl, cream together the softened butter and sugar with a hand mixer until light and fluffy.
2. Add the egg and lime juice, then beat until smooth and fully combined.
3. Mix in the salt, baking soda, and green food coloring. Gradually add the flour and cornstarch, mixing until a soft, evenly colored dough forms.
4. Divide the dough into large portions and shape into balls. Arrange on a parchment-lined baking sheet, leaving a few inches of space between each one.
5. Bake at 300°F for 6–8 minutes. Remove from the oven and carefully square up the edges of each partially baked cookie to create the blocky shape.
6. Return to the oven and bake for another 6–8 minutes, or until the edges are set and the centers still look slightly underdone. Let cool completely.
7. Tint the vanilla frosting green, then pipe a generous layer onto the bottom of one cookie. Top with a second cookie to create a sandwich.
8. On a sheet of parchment paper, pipe melted colored chocolate into the shape of a Creeper face. Let harden completely, then carefully flip it over and attach it to the top of the cookie with a small amount of frosting.
9. Serve and enjoy this Minecraft-inspired cookie that's packed with flavor. Just try not to let it explode on you!
