I quit buying beefy onion soup mix packets and started mixing my own with pantry staples instead. One jar is ready anytime I need it for pot roast, meatloaf, burgers, or slow cooker meals.

Homemade Beefy Onion Soup Mix
• ½ cup beef bouillon powder
• ½ cup dried minced onion
• ½ cup onion powder
• ¼ cup dried parsley
• 1 tbsp black pepper
• 2 tsp celery seed
• 1 tsp dried thyme

Mix everything together and store in a pint jar. Use about ¼ cup anywhere you’d normally use a packet of beefy onion soup mix.
